Solar Investment Opportunities in Power Plants with The Ontario FIT

Ontario’s Feed in Tariff (FIT) Program is a solar energy incentives program which creates an additional revenue stream by the development of solar energy power plants. The FIT program works by providing a guaranteed pricing structure for the production of electricity from renewable sources.

The FIT Program applies to solar energy projects over 10 kilowatts installed on rooftops or ground mounted. Based on the structure of the FIT program, 10 kW to 250 kW PV systems will have an attractive rate of 71.3 cents/kwh.
