Solar Panels For Ontario Feed-In-Tariff (FIT)

With our insight as a solar panel manufacturer, Conergy developed quality solar panels for the Ontario market that meet the Ontario Feed in Tariff (FIT) requirements. Manufactured in Ontario, the solar panels benefit from the same type of high quality components and robust design that Conergy offers on its solar panels manufactured at its own solar panel manufacturing facility.

Developed in a strategic partnership with an Ontario-based solar panel manufacturer, the Conergy ON solar panels achieve 15% domestic content for MicroFeed in Tariff (FIT) projects and 13% domestic content for Feed in Tariff (FIT) projects under the Ontario Green Energy Act program.

Meeting both residential requirements and investment-grade projects, the Conergy ON solar panel series offer robust design, outstanding build quality, excellent energy production and warranty coverage.

Solar Panel Glass

  • While other solar panels use glass coating or films that wear or breakdown over time, the Conergy ON solar panel has structured glass to maximize lifetime durability and lifetime yield.
  • High transmissivity is achieved with the microstructure of the solar panel glass, which drives higher yields through low reflectivity and good absorption of light outside the visible spectrum

Solar Panel Electrical Components

  • The Conergy ON junction box is fully-sealed and potted to prevent water penetration and ensure high levels of safety and durability
  • The cooling channels of the solar panel junction box is designed to improve lifetime electrical performance and yield
  • All of the Conergy ON solar panel wires are soldered to maximize safety and electrical performance
  • The Conergy ON solar panels are equipped with solar panel cables that provide up to 32 times the life expectancy of other PV cable insulation materials
  • The PV wire of the Conergy ON solar panels is UL 4703 compliant
  • All of the PV wire for the Conergy ON solar panels is heat and light resistant to prevent melting and UV degradation; does not shrink, deform or degrade under continuous load or bending; is highly resistant to damage caused by animal intrusion and has lower electrical resistance to increase connector life and lifetime yield.

PV Cell Design

  • The Conergy ON solar panels use a 3-busbar PV cell design that was developed by Conergy at its vertically-integrated solar panel manufacturing facility
  • The 3-busbar PV cell design increases the entire solar panel yield, compared to the typical 2-busbar PV cell design that only increases individual cell efficiency and actually decreases the yield of the entire solar panel

Solar Panel Features:

  • Fully Ontario FIT-compliant for 2011
  • High-performance components
  • High module efficiency
  • +/- 3% power tolerance
  • 30-years PV manufacturing experience

The Conergy On solar panels are polycrystalline. The solar panels are available in the following power classes:

  • 230 watts
  • 235 watts
  • 240 watts
  • 245 watts
